Why I chose it: Redemption was one of the most liked bottles from the 2022 calendar and this heavily awarded offering allowed us to complete the 6, 8, and 10-year MGP* 95/5 rye tastings. 6, 8, and 10-year ryes on days 6, 8, and 10 of the month... a pretty creative lineup for someone who didn't realize that was the case until today. The lack of 'straight' in the title indicates to me this likely comes out of multiple growing seasons so there's a good probability it has some older than 10-year product blended in. Does 2 points higher proof and at least 2 more years make a difference? Which of the 3 is the favorite? Hopefully, this experience showcases what age can do.
