Why I chose it: 1792 is another Kentucky brand owned by the Sazerac company since 2009. Our first full proof bottle, this bottle gets the nomenclature as the 125 proof offering is bottled at the same (full) proof that it entered the barrel (125). 1792 is the year that Kentucky became a state and Barton 1792 was the first distillery in Bardstown, generally considered the Bourbon capital of the world. More fun facts here. The Adventures Club Bourbon Society is a local Chicago group responsible for picking this club pick back in early 2022. Its a nice price point and should set the table for a fun second half of the calendar!
