Why I chose it: MGP typically produces quality rye and I wanted to see how the nearly split Rye/Corn mashbill would fare across the group (compared to the typical 95/5). I chose for this to be the first rye in the calendar because it was an easier onramp and I knew my friend Travis would like it and wanted him to know that before it was too late in December and all the bottles were gone (he previously turned down the opportunity to buy one).
