Why I chose it: Larceny has been highly praised and doing very well in blind tastings the last couple of years, including taking both slot 2 and 3 in Fred Minnicks blind top American whiskey of 2023 (the 2024, 5-hour live stream should happen soon - last year's was on the 20th). After yesterday's risky move, I wanted to return us to a state of familiarity. This is only the 2nd wheated bouron (excluding the undisclosed mash bills) of our tasting. Thankfully, if you like this one, these are becoming a lot easier to find (unlike most others on this calendar).
