Why I chose it: My whiskey club hosts an annual birthday party for the group on the anniversary of its forming. It's an amazing experience overall, but the opportunity to taste so many unique bottles is unparalleled. Last year, the 16-year seagrass was at the top of my tasting list among a sea of great contenders. I also thought its distinct 3 barrel finish was a unique way to bring this year to a close.
