Why I chose it: It would be unfair to have an American whiskey calendar and not find something delicious from the state of Tennessee. To complete the bottled-in-bond triple play, we move over to this rye offering from DSP-TN-1 for their newest bottle in their 700ml lineup, 'Bonded Rye'. Guaranteed to be 4 years, but reported to be around 7, this ultra-affordable offering is likely to gain its acclaim once the master of ceremonies steps to the microphone. Unlike yesterday's Heaven Hill BIB, this bottle was just released this year (2023). Did this offering from our fifth state become the front runner for the kitchen cabinet go-to rye? It's sitting in mine right now...
