Why I chose it: Because they're great. Sadly, the pick for last year's calendar was the first semi-dud from Four Roses I've ever had. We needed to redeem the brand with a distiller pick (selected by the distiller to be sold in their gift shop. Those don't miss). They have 2 variants to their mashbill and this is the lower rye (20% vs 35%) of the two. On the higher end of their single barrel proofs and aged over 11 years. We should be in for a treat!
