Why I chose it: Midwest Grain Products*, better known as MGP, is distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and home to (one of?) the largest whiskey contract distilling facilities in the world. Their 95/5 rye/barley mashbill is (probably) the most famous and commonly used Rye mashbill in the world. So why not get one on the calendar early to have this flavor profile under our belt? Single barrel classic rye, aged 6 years at a great price.
