Why I chose it: Wild Turkey's Russell's Reserve Private barrel selections are some of the nicest, most consistent single barrel picks coming out of any distiller. Bearing Jimmy Russell's name, these bottles historically have a lovely nose and palette to match. They are always 110 proof and offer a very approachable experience that is also actually attainable compared to some other brands. The intention of this bottle on the 7th was to share some tried and true Kentucky bourbon and energize the group going into the weekend.
