Mashbill: Blend of MI (theirs) and IN (MGP) to 74% Corn, 21% Rye, 5% Malted Barley

Aged: 6 years (6% for 9 years, 3% for 8 years, 71% for 7 years, 20% for 6 years)

Proof: 95.0

Why I chose it: It's not often I put 2 of the same distiller's bottles in the same calendar, but when I have done it, I like to do it back-to-back. As a 7-year Mayor Pingree single barrel bourbon was a huge hit last year, I wanted to find this more readily available batch product to give people another shot at it. Similar to yesterday's rye, Valentine Distilling Co blends its pot-stilled distillate alongside MGP's column-stilled distillate. This is a new mashbill, but it's very similar to day 10's with slightly less age on it. Does it compare?
