Why I chose it: Ever since I was introduced to New Riff in the 2022 Advent Calendar, I have enjoyed everything I have tried. This new 8-year bottle is at the upper end of their distillate age and is the oldest New Riff product we've had in the calendar (they were formed in 2014). It's another new mashbill for the 2025 tasting, not too close to any of our existing tastings. It is similar to the high-rye Four Roses recipes (which are 60/35/5). What does it remind you of?
